Shri Ranchodraay Ji Bhagwan
“ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय”
Dwarikadhish Shri Ranchodrayji Bhagwan is indeed the very core of everything—He is the core of our soul, and the foundation upon which Surbhi Ashram stands. His divine presence is the guiding force that governs all that happens within and around us. Everything, from the well-being of the cows to the serene environment of the ashram, is under His divine control, and whatever transpires is by His will. Shri Ranchodrayji is the supreme owner of all the multiverses and beyond. His boundless grace and love extend throughout creation, and it is His blessings that fill the hearts of all who seek His presence.
History of Mool Swaroop
The divine Swaroop of Shri Dwarikadhish Ranchodraay Ji at Surbhi Ashram is a sacred and ancient manifestation of the Lord, more than 300 years old. This revered form of Bhagwan once resided in a haveli in the old city of Ahmedabad, where it had been a centre of devotion for generations. However, over time, the haveli grew old and was no longer in a condition suitable for the Lord’s divine presence. Realizing the need for a better and more comfortable environment to serve Bhagwan, Shri Pushpendraprasad Ji took it upon himself to relocate the Swaroop of Shri Ranchodrayji after conducting a Vedic Yagya known as Utthapan Vidhi. Following this sacred ritual, Bhagwan was settled at Surbhi Ashram, where a more fitting and serene environment was created, in line with the divine wish of Lord Ranchodrayji Himself.
Daily sewa ritual
At Surbhi Ashram, the Lord is served with the utmost devotion, following the ancient traditions of the Shri Vallabhacharya ji’s Pushtimarg Sewa Tradition. The day-to-day service of Bhagwan is carried out by three Brahmin Brahmachari boys, who follow the prescribed rituals and perform the daily sewa with deep reverence and discipline. The sewa is meticulously carried out to ensure that every offering to the Lord is prepared with the highest standards of purity and devotion.
Prasad
Bhagwan is offered fresh white butter, milk, curd, and ghee, all of which are obtained from the cows of the Gaushala, ensuring that only the purest and most blessed products are presented. The cows, being revered as sacred, play an essential role in the entire process, their milk and ghee being used to serve Bhagwan with the utmost sanctity. In addition to these offerings, the vegetables and grains served to Bhagwan are either organically grown at the Ashram or sourced from certified organic farms, ensuring that the Lord is served the finest and healthiest food, prepared with love and care.
For the devotees who visit Surbhi Ashram to have darshan of Bhagwan, the experience is filled with divine grace. The prasad offered to the bhakts consists of the same blessed offerings given to Bhagwan, infused with the purity and divinity of the Lord’s presence. This prasad carries the blessings of the Lord, providing spiritual upliftment and peace to all who receive it.
Deepak /Lamp Sewa
A special feature of Surbhi Ashram is the Akhand Deepak, which burns continuously 24×7 in service to Bhagwan, symbolizing the eternal light of divine grace. This deepak is also served with ghee obtained from the cows, further linking the divine service to the sacred cows and their blessings. The Akhand Deepak is a constant reminder of the Lord’s eternal presence, illuminating the temple and the hearts of all who come to seek His blessings.
The mingle of Bhagwan and His divine Gauvansh
A truly heartwarming sight at the Ashram is the cows of the Gaushala, who can often be seen sitting and resting around the temple, in quiet harmony with the divine atmosphere. Their serene presence, as they surround the temple, adds to the holiness of the space, creating a unique bond between the cows, Bhagwan, and the devotees. The peaceful coexistence of the sacred cows and the divine Swaroop of Shri Dwarikadhish Ranchodraay Ji makes Surbhi Ashram a place of unparalleled devotion, tranquillity, and divine blessings.
